I support people to become be good leaders of themselves and to become effective managers and leader of others. The ‘ingredients’ to be a successful leader often include being influential, constructive, proactive, creative, disciplined and resilient. We all have experience of using these attributes, but we can lose access to them when our brain is triggered by situations, environments and our perceptions of other people. Through developing self awareness of our internal dialogue (emotions, beliefs, feelings and how we understand other people) we can better manage our internal energy, retain flexibility and choose how best to react and behave.
I provide training and development individually and in group workshops (usually 6 -12 people). Workshops are interactive and learner led – so that people can get to use the models and see if they work and are of potential benefit.
‘The primary purpose of the brain is survival and our thinking is impaired when we perceive threat, fear, shame or embarrassment. Most threat, fear, shame and embarrassment is what we imagine and not realised’
I work with people to improve the quality of their management and leadership to get the best out of others, maintaining the vibrancy and health of the team, to deliver results, to develop the capability of the team and achieve strategic aims. I am an advocate and practice the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen R Covey. I am a licensed facilitator (company specific) and mentor and coach people in applying the habits
