Leaders Training and Development

I support leaders develop their people and communication leadership skills. I do this in the way which works best for the person.

Frequently I act as a ‘safe place’ to talk through current work issues, providing support, exploring options and sometimes challenge.

Consultants often talk about ‘change management’. Whilst I understand this, and sometimes rapid step-change is forced upon us, human beings are much more comfortable adapting as this is something we do throughout our lives and it is a continuation of the past rather than suggesting that it was wrong or no longer needed. Much of the change I see in the workplace, is really the result of not adapting over years, until it becomes visible and hurts. It is a bit like a gardener blaming the plants for not growing well when the issue is nearly always looking after the soil or taking action to prevent disease.

I work with Leadership Teams, to improve the quality of their meetings, conversations and decision making. I am an advocate and practice the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, by the remarkable Stephen R Covey. I having been so for over 20 years and can mentor and coach people in practicing the habits.
